"Winter Gardens Elementary Welcomes Dr. Anthony Martinez"
“Dr. Martinez, MUSD’s Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction, takes time out of his busy schedule to visit school sites. Winter Gardens was one of his many stops. We would like to thank Dr. Martinez for his visit and would like to welcome him back to Montebello Unified.”
Ms. Alcazar's kindergarden class worked on these awesome robots. Great job done by our students & parents in room 106 on this family project!
WGE was selected by the Friends of Safe School USA to receive 24 backpacks fully stocked with school supplies for our students. This non-profit organization founded by LAUSD School Police is designed to positively reach out to student and the surrounding school communities to empower, encourage, and help those in need. Since there were only 24 backpacks, we offered a drawing contest to all our students. We had many participants in this art contest and it was a very difficult task for the judges to only select 24 drawing. On June 5th we had a special assembly to honor all the selected winners. We are so proud of all our students who participated in this event.
