NAEP Participants

This week WGE had about 62 students in the 4th  Grade participant in the (NAEP) National Assessment of Educational Progress in mathematics and reading.

The Seal of Biliteracy

The Seal of Biliteracy appears on the transcript or diploma of the graduating senior and is statement of accomplishment for future employers and for college admissions.

The State Seal of Biliteracy is intended to:

Recognize students who have acquired proficiency in English and additional
language(s)

  • Encourage the learning of all languages
  • Emphasize the value of knowing many languages
  • Contribute to global understanding
  • Promote language learning as a lifelong endeavor
